RAW MATERIAL AWARENESS

GREENPEG is committed to introduce the general public to the world of pegmatites and the meaning of raw materials as a prerequisite for civilization and public wealth. In the EU, like in no other place in the world, there is strong regulation of mining in terms of environmental amicability, resource efficiency and social care.
In order to introduce the civil public in the GREENPEG exploration approach we conduct in all three demonstration sites a public consultation in the form of focus group meetings. They are an essential means to familiarise end users and other stakeholders with the research and socio-economic environment of the GREENPEG approach. This includes also measures of raising raw material awareness of local people in the respective regions. Print media, such as the GREEN BOOK, will help the young and old followers of GREENPEG to better understand why “Raw Materials Are Future!”
