University College Dublin

University College Dublin (UCD) is an Irish public university with a long history of participation in EU-funded research. UCD hosts iCRAG, an applied geoscience research centre with strength in the challenge of energy critical element raw materials supply, including spodumene pegmatites. Minerals-related expertise in iCRAG, and in UCD School of Earth Sciences, is concentrated in the fields of geochemistry and structural geology. UCD is the lead in GREENPEG Work Package “Prospect-scale methodology”, supplying expertise in pegmatite geology and geochemistry.
