Geological Survey of Norway (NGU)
NGU is a government agency under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries. It is the national institution for knowledge on bedrock and mineral resources in Norway.
In GREENPEG, NGU is leading the WP Integration, final testing, and validation of exploration Methodologies and instrument development. It hosts for the project’s E-forum and data hub and is responsible for geophysical data acquisition in the Tysfjord test site.
Mineral exploration has been a main task at NGU actively applying various ground- and airborne geophysical data to target and exploit for a large variety of minerals.
